This hobby is for hedonists, not scientists

That's it.  That's my whole statement.

<< tongue in cheek>>

Of course, everyone who disagrees with me is just wrong.

I can go with a bongo playing physicist.....somethings are like that.
The other weeks ago, spouse told me violet really doesn’t exist.

Red + Blue...  Each is at the ends of the visible color spectrum, and don’t actually ’blend’ IRL.

It’s blended in your mind.  ’Purple’ is you kidding yourself, which imho is another onboard ’work-around’ we’ve not clue of...

...and how long it took for the DNA to adapt to that...🤷‍♂️🙄❤

@erik_squires ...easier to talk with your tongue out of cheek... ;)

Of course.  Everything you know is Wrong.

Same with me....likely, all of us...

No one knowing nothing doing nothing going nowhere...
( Blind Faith ?  Maybe... Definitely Clapton...)

I read 'they' are looking for AI 'trainers'......also, 4th ~ 6th gen AI's begin to forget.

I've this vision of an 8th gen AI in charge of my 'lectric cah (practice, going to Boston soon...) that was trained by a wannabe 'influencer' whose best friends are his laptop and his bong.

...and you laugh....Other snews is a cat was run over by a 'bot car in SF Mission on 16th St.  Turns out the cat was a known bar prowler, well loved by all....

We used to live off 19th, know the place well enuff.  I'd be p'o'd, too.

They're trying ban 'bot cars in SF.

There's at least a hundred of them everyday, if not more.

All become lidar 'blips', another ghost in the CPU....

@asvjerry - Nobody except a very few people are trying to ban Waymos in San Francisco - it's not going to happen, live with it.  In fact, they're adding Google's new robocar to the streets starting this week, I believe. I guarantee you a lot more cats, dogs, people, etc have been run down by vehicles with drivers behind the wheel. I'll trust a Waymo over a driver, and I'll be happy to see more of them, not fewer.

@larsman “I’ll trust Waymo over a driver”

I believe you don’t drive?

On two feet then, you are at more risk than drivers out there, whether being run over by the real or “bot” types.

Not being confrontational, it’s your friend from the UK who recently talked to you about Rick Wakeman and your next planned trip to South West England.

Just replying after reading and seeing a funny side of your “robocar” analysis.

Do you like bagels?
