Hey Tom @reubent I was for a few short years to company focal to Clemson and a few other skools… a wonderful place - bravo

I just finished listening to the new Rolling Stones Black and Blue Box Set. The quality and sound is extremely good and this is my favorite Stones album. Very pleased with the purchase...

@cdhumiston, i just finished listening to the black and blue box set as well. i hadn't listened to the original for years--some critic described it as "mostly song-free", which (other than "hand of fate") is true enough, but i dig it--it's looser and less self-important than the better-regarded let it bleed or sticky fingers. the jams on disc 2 are fairly generic, but sorta hypnotic.

i've also been listening alot to hole's "live through this"--i don't usually like this kind of angry raw screamo thing, but this really is a masterpiece. it's long been rumored that kurt wrote the songs, and it's hard to believe he didn't have some input, but the sensibility is all hers. "softer softest", "rock star".
