I’ve got 3 Nordost QB4 MKII’s in my system - one per circuit. Without the plug-ins, it’s more of a power distributor. I’ve taken one apart to see the innards. Not much there except resistors on the outlets that aren’t the Primary Earth. It’s Nordost’s solid core wiring and case design w/ground capability that provides the SQ benefits. To convert the QBase into a power conditioner, one or more of these QRT plug-ins would be needed.
The Taihang should work well in place of the plug-ins. It would be an interesting experiment to try your PS Power Plant 12 on the modem/router combo.
In my experience, digital cabling needs good shielding to deal with EMI & RFI. I use PAD pc’s with the Contego mixture - on the LPS's to the modem/router/access point. Synergistic Research pc’s with the active shielding using the red tuning modules - on the streamer/DDC/DAC.
As described on my Virtual Systems.
