What’s playing on your turntable…. Does anyone care?
When l was in a previous discussion l questioned the value myself if l would want to tell anyone what l was listening to. I have always wondered why do some posters feel compelled on a regular basis to tell others what’s playing on their turntable?
What makes someone want to do that? Personally l fail to see the point. So l have posted this question to others to test if there’s any curiosity value in it. What would an analyst make if it all. Is it a form of attention seeking?

Total agreement from me. l fear the demise of all physical music media is upon us. The shape of things to come in a new fickle world. Music predominantly from a phone, tablet, streamer and the Amazon Alexa Echo Dot followers. |
@mylogic - I care! And I share. I'm a participant in that thread. I receive joy from it, knowing some of my internet acquaintances are also enjoying their vinyl playback systems. I often see a post regarding a record I've never heard, a new audiophile version of an old favorite, or just some forgotten favorite. Here's my challenge to you. Post to "what's on your turntable tonight" and see what happens. |
