Recommendations for a tubed preamp

I could highly recommend Primaluna, owned Prologue Premium preamp and then upgraded to EVO 400. EVO 400 has balanced ins/outs, and very low output impendence so easy much with most power amps. Sound is not too tubey, it leans a bit more to modern sound compared to some other, so detailed and extended, but smooth and full bodied, you can even say slightly warm. Perfect combination :) Simplified setup now to Primaluna integrated, but still sticking with the same brand. Good support and sales network in EU.

I own an ARC Reference 5SE.  Best I have owned.  Just sounds like pure music.

Thanks for all the recommendations! I promise I’ll check out every single preamp you suggested.

Like I mentioned before, I’m based in Europe, so some of these U.S. companies aren’t available to me, unfortunately.

P.S. Has anyone here ever tried anything from Qualiton / Hungary Audio?

Another vote for the Spatial Audio Raven. It glows in the dark too.
