Recommendations for a integrated amp

Lately I have been thinking going integrated from separates. I been interested in an integrated amp so I can keep it simpler with less signal chain. Also am looking for one that has a USB input so I can eliminate my interface as a dac. I am mainly looking SS but is not limited to. My budget is around 4k but I  am flexible. This will be powering a pair of Triangle  BR03 speakers.

BTW,  I currently have a Rotel RC-995 preamp and a Acurus A150 amp with a Focusrite interface as a dac using Tidal on my laptop as a source.

@dekay you are soo right.

(also, so much for being a good sport and not deviate from the subject devil)

@dekay That might be true to some degree. What if it were the other way around? It would be unusual to. I see that a huge price diffeerence discourage to some folks but it would be much more relevant to upgrade the front end amplification first to a budget I am comfortable with and upgrade the speakers in the near future when financial permit. I would eventually come to that point.

In my defense (and that's never a winning start to an argument) I never heard any Triangle speakers so I did not pay attention...

Highend:

I have some "unusual" combo’s due to downsizing and keeping cables that I like ($400 BMI power cord and 47 Labs interconnects on the Sharp/Polk/Kenwood mini-system used @ the computer that cost closeout/used/found on the street $83.50).

I understand from one of your previous posts that you really like the speakers, but have you considered auditioning other speakers with your $4K budget - which may cover new amplification as well?

Not written in stone, but generally it’s advisable to match amplification to speakers and not the other way around (this "kernel" of knowledge being directed @ upgrading the speakers after new amplification).
