Recommendations for a integrated amp

Lately I have been thinking going integrated from separates. I been interested in an integrated amp so I can keep it simpler with less signal chain. Also am looking for one that has a USB input so I can eliminate my interface as a dac. I am mainly looking SS but is not limited to. My budget is around 4k but I  am flexible. This will be powering a pair of Triangle  BR03 speakers.

BTW,  I currently have a Rotel RC-995 preamp and a Acurus A150 amp with a Focusrite interface as a dac using Tidal on my laptop as a source.

Tubes amps will almost always sound warmer. Given a choice between SS and tubes.

Consider a Hybrid or Tube integrated amplifier. Balanced Audio Technology(BAT) or a full tube Octave Audio integrated, both produce top level components. If finances are an issue look into a dealer demo or preowned that is sold by a reputable dealer.

I had the 190 for 3 months and then sold it. I wasn't unhappy with it, but definitely wasn't an endgame amp. It has a big, in your face, very clean sound, that wasn't natural. I felt that all that noise filtering technology is cheating to make it irresistible and easy to like but on the downside, eliminating the fine details

The best integrated amplifier I ever heard was the Line Magnetic stereo tube amp.  Not sure about the USB but overall the best sound I heard.  The transformer on the unit is fantastic so that is why it sounds so good.  Under $5K new if I remember correctly.

Happy Listening.

@parkergetdean     +1   I have never recommended any Hegel product. They can be viable in a budget or home theater set up due to the power and aggression provided.
