Upgrade my HiFi setup!

Hi all,
I’m looking for some suggestions on an upgrade.
I have a 10 SQM (3.5x2.9) acoustic room with Kef LS50 powered by Rega Brio just for music listening.
I want to upgrade it. Budget about $10K.

I thought about Monitor Audio G6 Gold 300 + Roksan Caspian 4G (the streaming version with the BluOS).

What do you think, does someone have any suggestion?
I’m mainly listening to electronic music and hip hop but sometimes find myself listening to rock, live music and other genres.

Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

You’re welcome. I do own Monitor Audio speakers. I’ve had Monitor Audio PL500 II speakers since 2016. I think they are very underrated and can sound great in the right room, with the right components.

Fan of both KEF and Monitor.  If the OP simply wanted to upgrade the KEF LS50, I’d normally suggest moving up the product line. But since the LS50 is going to a 2nd system, I’d choose Monitor Audio for an excellent brand change.

To avoid side grades, downgrades and letdowns, you gotta go a lil big, especially for the kind of music you like..

Get this mofi  V10 master edition floorstander pair, $8000. It can kinda sound like a TAD Reference, but, without tad level wallet destruction.

You also need a serious amp to go with it. This Rotel should do the trick at around $4500

Good luck.

options

1- add powered sub to ls50s (my setup)

2- Move up the KEF line

3- The Mofis are a viable alternative and probably biggest bang per buck. The v10s are in your price range if big and heavy is not a problem.
