Upgrade my HiFi setup!

Hi all,
I’m looking for some suggestions on an upgrade.
I have a 10 SQM (3.5x2.9) acoustic room with Kef LS50 powered by Rega Brio just for music listening.
I want to upgrade it. Budget about $10K.

I thought about Monitor Audio G6 Gold 300 + Roksan Caspian 4G (the streaming version with the BluOS).

What do you think, does someone have any suggestion?
I’m mainly listening to electronic music and hip hop but sometimes find myself listening to rock, live music and other genres.

Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

Is the 7 Years experience solely of the Kef and Rega, or have you ventured out to take on board what other arrangements of Audio Equipment can produce as an End Sound??

Mentioning $10K on the Gon is going to attract various attention and intentions for such a budget, which can expose an individual to being steered in directions that may be not the most advantageous to your new direction being planned.

Do not buy on forum recommendations, take info offered as a means to a further investigations and gather useful info.

Create a Shortlist and invest some of the $10K budget in creating a opportunity to listen to End Sound being produced by shortlist devices and others that may present themselves.

Caveat Emptor is ones best friend when going on this journey type.

Do not overlook the Kit Market, which is the 'Road Less Travelled',  where an option is to have a device purchased which can be commission built on ones behalf.

Most of my equipment comes from this method of purchase and it is not uncommon if approached with a reasonable understanding to acquire audio devices that will requires  4-5x the spend to achieve an End Sound from the commercial world that can start to compete in this area.

A Neurochrome Power Amplifier, I have a module 65 in my home at the current time along with a few Speakers that are Commission Built from a Kit Design.

Using the suggested purchase methodology and having an audio device built, at a price of $2.5K - $5K can easily get a system in place that can create need for a Budget to extend to near $15K - $20K to better it, if off the shelf commercial items are being selected that can compete with the End Sound being produced, maybe even at used item prices.

Purchasing KIT/DIY or products with little or no brand recognition can offer a high level of performance/price ratio but with caveats. Resale value is non-existent, customer service/repairs are an issue, company longevity is at a greater risk. Purchasing this type of gear does not make you "smarter than the next guy" or I’m sticking it to the big guy, why would you desire that type of attitude? The 4x-5x greater price/performance ratio is grossly overstated. I have heard many kit and off brand speakers, at best there competitive with the mainstream competition.

Zlone said it, kefs need power. You need amps with plenty of headroom for the speakers to sound dynamic. That said if you’re not a headbanger and don’t have cats maggies are hard to beat.

Thanks for the feedbacks!

The LS50 have their own plan, the will move to the living room and the Rega Brio will be replaced with Hegel H120, but this is story for another day.

My planned setup shaped a little bit more,

it will be Monitor Audio PL100 G3, Chord Qutest, Room Nucleus and I’m still thinking on what integrated amplifier to choose.
I have the Roksan Caspian 4G and Hegel H190v in mind but not sure I heard enough integrated amplifiers to get to a conclusion.

do you have any idea on an integrated amplifier that will fit this setup like a glove to hand?

nadav1ktz,

"I’m looking for is with the sound quality the speaker produced, soundstage, details, dynamics and transparency."

I’ll preface my comments with all room/systems are different, but I’ll share my experience with you. I often debate about what to upgrade to improve the soundstage, details, dynamics, and transparency in my own system. So two years ago I started upgrading my components. I went from a Jeff Rowland 625 S2 to Jeff Rowland 735 mono-amps. I added dual REL No, 32 subwoofers, I upgraded my music server to an Antipodes Oladra. Most recently I changed from GIK acoustic room treatment to Artnovion Acoustics. Everything matters and with each upgrade I heard improvements. My system/speakers sound completely different from when I started the upgrade process. Based on what I’ve learned during this experience I would start with acoustic room treatment. I had to send a diagram and panoramic picture of my room to my dealer. The dealer installed my room treatment a couple of days ago. The new room treatment has transformed my system...the soundstage is bigger with more depth, increased transparency and detail.
