YouTube Reviews

I am about to launch a new audio brand.  I am interested in finding the top YouTube reviewers to assist in launching the products.

Who do you consider the top YouTube reviewers that I should contact to get the most exposure?

Thank you in advance.

For those dissing on youtube review videos not looking in right places, some good ones include, drD E Audio, Steve Guttenberg, A British Audiophile, An Aussie Audiophile, Jay Iyagi, just did an interesting video in which he visited Chinese high end manufacturers, quite enlightening for those always dissing Chinese equipment, OldGuyHifi, RealHifiHelp, HifiHuff, ana[dia]Log, TheGreekAudioGeek, NewRecordDay, PatrickThibant, VirtualHifi.

Youtube videos will most likely give you exposure to a younger demographic, too many oldsters not open to this new format for reviews. The above reviewers open to trying components from smaller boutique manufacturers unlike the more established outlets. With proper exposure the direct sales model can work, relatively low cost for distribution and marketing, consumers will expect price to reflect this.

Marketing a product can be more challenging than making it.  How do you differentiate your product from all the others?  Especially in a crowded space.  Hopefully, your business plan encompasses all aspects.

Here’s a Youtube reviewer pitching a non-descript black box - an amp.   Neither the reviewer nor the product engages me.    Yet, this is the same reviewer who created a windfall for Caladan speakers.    The affordable price along with the glowing review was very appealing.   Yet, the windfall led to serious issues with production that eventually lost sales.       It’s never easy.

Wishing you much success in making it happen!

@eaglekent

Thank you for posting this AI-generated list! It is most useful! Yes, the OP has never heard of ChatGPT, and he lacks the skills and knowledge to query the AI and cut-and-paste the drivel it spews out, as you do.

At least two of the suggestions in that list are absurd. The cheapaudioman has no interest in $13K artisan DACs other than to trash them in the name of the common people. As for Uncle Paul, why in the world would you believe he would promote products other than his own company's?

This ChatGPT posting nonsense is getting totally out of hand

@bigkidz - You have received feedback about reviewers, but @vthokie83 @steakster make good points related to considering an overall marketing and business development plan.  If I were interested in your products, the first thing I would look at is your website, the pictures, the product descriptions, and what the products offer that would make me consider them above competing products.  I suggest you consider retaining a marketing consultant specializing in helping small businesses get off the ground, including website design.  Good luck.
