Thunderclap Newman : Something in the air
The Morells : Reds
Your favorite obscure song
What song in your music inventory do you consider a barely known hidden gem? Like a well kept secret know only to a few that you can listen to over and again.
For me it's 'Roads to Moscow' from Al Stewart's 'Past Present and Future' album.
The music, the lyrics, the story it tells is- to be just slightly hyperbolic- brilliant.
Check it out, especially if your a WW2 history buff.
Thank you for your attention on this matter.š

Here are The Morells (when they were going by the name The Skeletons) on Art Feinās Poker Party performing another obscure song, "If You Play With My Mind (Youāre Gonna Get Your Hands Dirty)". The song was written by Cornell Hurd, the longtime Austin Texas musical institution (@whart/Bill: Have you taken my advice and gone out to see Hurd live yet?). The Skeletons drummer is Bobby Lloyd Hicks, later a member of Dave Alvinās band The Guilty Men.

Nope, @bdp24 - he's a regular at the Saxon Pub if I recall. I just have to get my ass in gear.
