Guys-

I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

I’m sure you’ve detailed it somewhere in this long thread, but I can’t remember it :

 

What did you know about the decisions made after Jim passed away in terms of choosing a loudspeaker designer to carry on the work?  And what do you know about the decisions to abandon time/phase coherence?  Was there much friction involved in that move?  I’m trying to remember who designed the more “lifestyle looking” TT1 speakers, and why they were chosen. (Mark Mason?)

 

I would think there was at least some consternation among some Thiel employees about the direction that was taken?
