Degritter brand ultrasonic record cleaner
Sounds good vortex.I notice what seems to be more subtle, rich quality to the sound after cleaning.  And a washed record seems more "transparent" like my speakers disappear and soundstage better in a way.  Probably due to a drop in the background ...

Not sure about the Graham Audio speakers.  I'm aware of them, but have never seen them locally.  Thanks for the input yeti42!

Curious about other Degritter owners:  what are your impressions of the sound after washing?

I continue to be happy with and amazed by the dispersion characteristics of my 2.7s.  Having been playing them for several guests, all of us seated along the listening sofa, the tonality remains so consistent from seat to seat, and they still mana...

Hi Alex,I went to a couple of Montreal shows in a row (or maybe 3, though not  this year).  I'm pretty sure I was at the 2017 show and remember hearing those speakers you liked as well.I remember it was one of the Montreal shows where I first hear...

Boy oh boy, people here sure like Bryston amplification more than I do :)(Strictly speaking it's not a problem with Bryston which are very competent amplifiers.  I guess it's just that having owned Bryston, having friends using Bryston etc, for me...

Goodness, that's a strong opinion!I've seen other opinions that go the other way, quite happy with the D-series top end.  I'll have to hear them myself.
Pin point imaging isn't for everyone
I hear quite precise imaging in live unamplified sounds.I was recently in a city park in which a large group of people were playing a variety of percussion instruments, large and small.  Eyes closed, the direction of the instruments were quite wel...
My Thoughts re: Dealers Posting on Audiogon
I have few qualms about dealers posting on forums. It’s up to me whether I find their posts useful or not. That said, and especially having been back in the speaker market again over the past few years, I can not remember a dealer who has ever offe...
More Devore vs Proac questions (super 9 vs D30RS)
Thanks Mike! One other thing I am concerned about with the 9s is listening distance. As I've mentioned in my own thread, I find I need at least 8 feet from the O series for them to have good high frequency life and coherency.  Whereas my seating req...

MPYou've been able to do the comparison I'd been hoping to do.  I listened to the O/93s again recently and though they were still great in the ways I remembered, I would have liked a more extended, refined top end.  I've been intrigued by the Supe...
