Interconnects/Cables of your choice, and why?

Transparent. Because all of my components are synergistic and have exactly the sound I want… I want cables and interconnects that do not influence the sound quality at all. Completely neutral and provide no attenuation. I use these on all applications.

i spent hundreds of hours comparing cables and interconnects. Developed a set of variables to make observations and rated against a standard. Transparent won. They are also one of the top four interconnect companies by sales and continually improve their products. I randomly try something different to verify they remain the leaders in what I want from wires.
 

I use an Audio Quest Hurricane power cord  on my power amp because I could not afford a Transparent high current power cord. 
 

I often recommend different brands to folks with different systems who are needing something other that complete transparency.

I use pretty much a full loom of Acoustic Zen cables/interconnects as I find them to be very neutral yet also very balanced and natural sounding with excellent imaging/3D soundstage.  These are qualities I find better cables manage to do that most budget cables can’t, and IMO AZ cables aren’t absurdly priced for this level of performance, and used they can be a huge performance bargain.  Power cables are mainly Cullen, USB is a LavriCables Ultimate Dual Silver, and HDMI for i2S is from Monoprice.

My system is high efficiency speakers , SET and I have found the above wide open, i.e. less congested and slouchy than others.

Mostly Furutech Fa-Alpha s22, but also have some SKW phono cables.  That's what's worked out best in my system these days.
