Legacy Audio Studio HD Bookshelf Speakers vs ProAc Tablette

Hey everyone-per the title, has anyone compared the two? I mostly listen to jazz, and my audio room is about 15' x 10' with 8' ceilings.

I have the Anniversary Tablettes and like them. They have terrific resolution, really large soundstage for their size and mate well with my 12 Watt, Unison Simply Italy. Are they lacking in any category? I'm not sure. They are all they're "they" say, and I think they are "polite."

Meanwhile, my research says the Legacys are "lively, dynamic, and detailed sound, particularly in the upper midrange and treble." That sounds intriguing and kinda "sexy."

And, you know how/what this hobby (addiction?) is like. Periodically, you get wanderlust. And you can get in trouble with your significant other, engaging in "That" kind of wanderlust. But in audio, it's scratches an itch; no harm done. BTW-have I mixed enough metaphors, and put in the requisite enough quote marks?

Anyway--any insights, experiences, comparisons are appreciated!

@freediver -I’m not a loud listener on this rig, so what you say makes sense. That’s reserved for the bigger one in the livingroom, which BTW, has ProAc D30R floorstanders. I used a soundmeter and typically listen at 60-65 db. I "cranked-it up" and in this room 75db is plenty loud.

WRT tubes and cables-I started with the stock tubes, Tung-Sol EL34 and TungSol 12AU7, which are really good. After the requisite amp burn-in period I moved on to NOS Brimar 12AU7, mid 1970s, blackbase EL34/6CA7 Siemens. I’m using Quicksilver silver RCA interconnects, which IMO are a STEAL.

I appreciate your input!

I have a pair of Legacy Studios that. Use as surround speakers in my 5.2 system. I chose them because all of my other speakers are Legacy Whispers, Marquis, Foundation.  They all match up perfectly. They can really kick it!  I love them.
I know that didn’t help you. Sorry.

I’m a big ProAc fan, and if I wanted to keep the good things while still being tube friendly and just adding a little more detail/sparkle up top and maybe a little more dynamic slam I’d look at Fritz speakers and maybe Reference 3a.  Best of luck.

@soix -Thanks for the recommendations. I emailed Fritz (who regularly reads these boards) and his FRITZ CARRERA R looks interesting. I do remember your description of the Reference 3a.
