The phi speakers are among the sweetest, clearest speakers I have ever laid ears on. Of course no small amount of credit should be given to the Boulder mono block amps in the system.  Hard to describe but capitivating, nothing forced or objectionable in the sound at all, just sweet yet unvarnished music.   the last but significant few percent of improvement you hear by spending much more money.  

diminished returns but noticeable and enjoyable.

Sounded so good at AXPONA 2025 I stayed for extended listening.  I’m a little disappointed that the fabulous sounding Boulder electronics were outside my budget.  

Wondering if anyone has recently bought these speakers and how they have worked out. I’m considering high sensitivity speakers, considering ICON12, Volti, Joseph Crowe No.3154. 

My criteria is room filling real-life music. 90-100db sensitivity for 25-50W class A amps.

Any other suggestions folks here have?
