@jglacken - Sly opened for the Stones? When was this? |
No doubt, it was The Beatles, September 13, 1964, Civic Center in Baltimore. My dad took me, and it was my birthday. Another is Merle Haggard at Buck Owens Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, New Years Eve, with the Malpass Brothers as opening act. Of course, I have to add Dylan, but not possible to pick any one, there have been so very many. |
Actually, I have 5. 1. Creedence Clearwater Revival (2 times), 2. Alice Cooper, 3. Bob Seger many times in small clubs and large arenas. 4. Neil Young's acoustic set. 5. The Rolling Stones at the Lions Pontiac Stadium. My daughter to this day still talks about that concert. There were giant balloon people and fireworks! All within a closed in stadium! ozzy |
