Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

Shoe Gaze, Death Folk, Opera (that's a shame but oh well), most Hippity Hop, most pop although occasionally something squeaks through somewhere. Although in my many decades as a musician I've never been a jazz player, that's pretty much 90% of my listening with a seemingly endless jazz trio obsession. Kjetil Mulelid anybody?

Diane Schuur.  Plenty of talent, but her voice just grates on me.

Can't think of one off hand, pretty difficult to find an artists devoid of at least one song I may like. I guess Captain Beefheart closest thing, the guy is a phony and treated his band mates terribly.

This thread progressed about as expected after reading the title. Looks like a lot of folks listen to audio show type music, which is a little sad.. Not all of any kind of music is "bad".

No name calling here.  I go through Qobuz new music each Friday, usually 12 to 18 new albums, trying anything that looks interesting.  Maybe 14 out of fifteen don't deserve to be played twice. Ditto for the playlists.  Once in a while though, I strike gold.
