Battle of the Open Baffles

Watching Jay's video today about the Maco Acoustics speakers, and saw the Caladan's late last year.  Seems like open baffle death match is brewing...

I own a pair of spatial Audio x3 and they do sound fantastic. If they had a lacking it would be in the midrange. If you are a DIY person I would HIGHLY recommend looking up ABX-BAFFLES and La-Dolce audio on youtube. Then if you get excited about hearing them join their discord. These have been a game changer! take note my x3 are in the background (yes they are THAT good).

I couldn't agree more. The midrange is the one area that speaker is lacking. But once you hear it, you can't unhear it.

@ricevs What is your website please? I tried to contact you via Agon messaging but that was a no go. I’m in the northern bay area. Thx.

The Trio 10 with the AMT tweeter is a terrific sounding speaker.  I heard this speaker at this year's Capital Audio Fest.  I also heard, and was particularly impressed with the OB speaker from Cinnamon, a Portuguese company.  This compact system is a three way speaker with an active, DSP controlled woofer module.  It is quite a bit more expensive than most OB systems on the market, but, it is a great sounding system.
