On a more serious note; I have, over the years upgraded my gear, made my own interconnects and speaker cable runs. I've made most of my mistakes by selling gear that was better than I knew due to having needs for servis, or poor impeedence matching or what ever. My experience with cable has shown a consistant improvement as long as I let things burn in. I'm using Canare Starquad for speaker cable and my home made Vandamn interconnects. There is great cost savings and huge sound improvements. Now I'm looking at power cords, in wall cable runs and circuit breakers. It's hard for me to get my head arround how these links in the chane will improve my sonic experience but after witnessing the audable blume from hours of burn in with my speaker cables, I'm open to things I don't quite understand.
As I look at my dedicated audio circuit, I am considering 1 PS Labs outlet using 10 gage copper wire to plug a line conditioner into one plug and the other plug will connect direct to my amplifier. My thought is that the Mark Levinson 23.5 has huge demand at times but also huge copaciters to keep things smooth. The line conditioner will only have to smooth out power to the turntable, CD player and streaming device.
Any thoughts?
