EMT 948 w/ 929 tonearm.

Maybe someone can help. I set the tone arm to specs @ 250 g. The eyelet is rite above the counterweight hole for the Anti skate. whether I connect the counter weight or not, most of my LPs skip. What am I doing wrong?

Also have you a full set of 948 instructions? If my 950 instructions are anything to go by I bet they are comprehensive
