New York Times article on Charo

An interesting article on the cuchi cuchi girl.  I remember her doing the shimmy on many tv shows and saw her play the guitar a few times. Little did I know that she was a child prodigy to Segovia.  Apparently  she is a world class flamenco guitarist.  Who knew?  Can any of you recommend good Charo albums or other flamenco musicians?

Most of us, I think. She is very proficient from what have seen but I'm not an expert in Flamenco Guitar. I'm not a biologist....

Charo is the real deal behind the personality. She was taught by the master.

Accomplished Flamenco players make it look effortless.

This guy does some analysis on what is going on with Charo's playing.
