Are audiophile speakers turn on for single women?

I recently purchased a pair of speakers that I showed to a non-audiophile female friend of mine. She said they looked beautiful and asked how much they cost. When I told her, her jaw dropped. She then asked if I was using them to pick up hot chicks. Hmm...I told her the only people who get turned on by my audiophile speakers are balding middle-aged men. She had a laugh, but I wondered if anyone tried to impress a girl with his stereo system. High end is a male dominated hobby like sports cars. So have you found a woman who was turned on by your system. I have had no such look. I just get blank stares when I talk about my hobby to women.

"For all I know, we'd be divorced by now, and she'd have my house and stereo." Classic. Based on current statistics, you would have had greater than 50% chance of this happening if you married her. Enjoy your stereo system.
Never really could tell what they thought of my stereo.
They usually end up walking past my hot tub just to get to it.
So, uh, they're mind is pretty much occupied by the time we get to the stereo.
Not that I really mind.........
Well, I'm one of those apparently rare women who love music and audio equipment. When I got married back in the day, I was the one with a huge Kenwood stereo rack system. I've always loved electronics, from tvs, computers, stereo equipment, I love it all. Speakers especially are porn to me. I love big beautiful speakers, it's weird, I know, lol. Married my ex-husband b/c he loved music as much as me. Love almost all music from the 70s to now, but if you try to play classical/orchestral crap or jazz, you're out of my house.lol
So for best odds with single women:

1) trim nose hair. Ear hair too!
2) impress them with speakers
