Glad to hear about the Tektons, they are fast moving to the top of my list of speakers to hear, and maybe even upgrade to Moab or Ulf.
I do not however think it a very good idea at all to put them on top of subs. You probably got this idea because so many are still stuck in the erroneous idea that bass needs timing, alignment, etc. Whatever. Wrong. Quite the opposite. What you want, especially in your room, is as many dissimilar bass sources as possible.
For this reason it will actually be a lot better to run your stereo pair full range. This will give you more bass sources, allow you to run the subs at a lower level, and this in turn will allow you to tune them to a lower frequency. Together this should go a long way to improving the bass in your room.
I know this idea runs counter to what most will say. Most who have never tried it, therefore have no idea. When you hear different advice, ask yourself if it is based on what they have actually done, or what they think is supposed to happen. I've actually built my own and know.
