So in addition to everything that's been recommended  here don't forget that Tidal, and Spotify, have TONS of live Dead shows including most of the Road Trips and Downloads series and lots of Dicks Picks. And great sound quality on Tidal.
I'm pretty sure there is no transfer or remastering of the 5-8-77 Betty done by Charlie Miller.  The circulating MSR>D copies all come from Dougal Donaldson's PCM (on VHS) copy made at the original (and only, so far!) transfer session.  Bob Menke has an all-analog version on Beta HiFi but I don't think anyone has transferred that to digital.  Rob Eaton then dbx-decoded a DAT transfer (from Dougal's PCM) using his studio equipment.  Since the original is at 16/44.056, there is unlikely to be an advantage to using a higher digital resolution IMHO.
Just ordered DP18! less than 500 units left- these always go fast and sell-out!
