Wow an old album that rocked your world

I know this is a Hifi forum but isn’t it about the music as well. Has anyone recently played a
Vinyl, disc or whatever you are into. One that you forgot was so good and totally was blown away by the music and the recording? If so share it with us. Mine was Mahavishnu orchestra Birds of Fire. Have not listened to that for some time. Wow. FORGOT HOW GOOD THAT WAS.
This is what Hifi is all about IMO.

Roxy Music - Avalon!

Agreed. Somehow missed this one entirely when it was new. First heard Avalon only about a half a dozen years ago. Even then it was just on iPod. Now on euro vinyl on my system it is just mind-boggling good! Both in terms of sound quality, which is exceptional, as well as the music, which is a timeless blend of styles and genres.
Yeah, well, just try and get Trout Mask Replica on cassette!
I may have a spare 8 track if you’re interested.
OK Computer by Radiohead, perhaps one of the greatest rock albums of the 1990s.    Listened to it over the weekend and it brought a tear to my eyes.
Jefferson Airplane: Crown of Creation
Todd Rundgren: Something Anything
Stevie Wonder: Hotter than July
Mahavishnu Orchestra: Birds of Fire
King Crimson: In the Court of the Crimson King
Supertramp: Crime of the Century & Breakfast in America
Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland
Ten Years After: A Space in Time

So many inspiring albums back in the day...still spin most of them regularly!
