Why are audiophiles perceived as being wackos?
Because they write long responses not broken up into paragraphs for easier readability (especially on devices).
Wow an old album that rocked your world
OK Computer by Radiohead, perhaps one of the greatest rock albums of the 1990s.    Listened to it over the weekend and it brought a tear to my eyes.
Usless but interesting ....how many of you old timers started with original Large Advents?
I certainly did.  Powered by a Harman Kardon receiver.   Heard a pair recently at an event.  Thought they sounded muddy by modern standards.
Help me understand John Coltrane .... seriously.
Check out some Sun Ra
Schitt Vidar versus Channel Island 's E200 S amp. Which is the better sounding amp?
Would you rather have Schitt on your audio shelf or the CIA full time in your listening room?

Use a blowtorch to get the film off the vinyl.

In this case, “sounds like Schitt” is a complement.
Synergies in music and amp combinations?
Like all genres, there is good and bad. Meant this as a tongue-in-cheek thing, not to trigger an indictment of an entire formal of music.
7.83HZ Schumann Wave Ultra-Low Frequency Pulse Generator & Audio Resonator, DC
You may want to consider two Tice Clocks, one for each channel.   They have the same effect as the resonator.  Check out Cocoanut Audio’s website for a panoply or tweaks that would be of as much use as the resonators.

I have one.  I’ve not heard a whit of difference in my very small HT room.
Forever speakers around $5000
RE the Moabs:   Wouldn’t they be larger than the criteria elucidated?
Forever speakers around $5000
Also, saw a wonderful pair of boxless speakers at Underwood Audio’s website for just under $3,000.
