Wilson Sophias vs Avalon Indras

I'm looking at upgrading from Duettes and am looking at Sophia's and Avalon Indras. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm not very familiar with the Sophias, but have enjoyed the WP7's for their delicacy with Lamm SET amplification. I currently own the Indras, and I find them to be very musical and balanced, excellent sound staging, reasonably fast. I'm very happy with them. They are not particularly strong on the bottom octave, though not bad. Originally I purchased a Fathom 113 sub, but haven't been using it lately. Perhaps the Indras are breaking in, though I think I'll hook it back up once I get through various system modifications I'm currently doing.
I have compared the the Sophias and WP against the Avalon Eidolon Visions. The Visions (IMO) are a big step up over the Sophias and will give you the low end bass that the Indras are lacking. I have owned mine for two years and absolutely love them.
Cdj123- Interesting however according to Avalon's website, the Visions only spec 2 cycles lower than the Indras.
It doesn't matter if it's only 2 cycles lower. It moves a lot more air. The Visions will have noticeable bass output over the Indras.
Both of them are excellent speakers, but they couldn't be more different in terms of sound. I really urge you to listen to both before you make your decision. I tested both the Wilson WP7 and the Avalon Eidolon Vision before I made my purchase, and found that I prefer the Eidolon Vision, and therefore, bought them. Given the fact that you are already using the Wilson Duettes, you may have already developed your sound preference in a choice between the Sophia and the Indra. But you really owe it to yourself to try to listen to them before you make your decision!
IMO, I found after listening to both they have more in common than differences..I never liked the W/P of any production but the Sophia2 as well as the new Sasha I would buy as well as the Indra..Either speaker is a winner!!
