Where is Audiogon going with this.....

I put several ads on the other day, I placed them in the Featured listing and sure enough these showed up nicely.....So I then checked the Classified listing and they were not there.......Do we now have to pay extra to have our listing in both places  ??  It costs enough for at least a listing in both places........What's going on with Audiogon, first it was 10.00 then it was 25.00 and my last ad was 45.00 and it only showed up in one place...........A lot of people don't even look at the Featured listing..........HELP ME OUT  ??

I did e-mail them and got a response, but the problem isn't fixed and as you know the timing in listing is important .......So I paid for a ad that I have lost the timing , so the listing isn't as effective as it should be.....I don't understand the wiedom of these web-sites when it comes to these issues......E-bay has totally ruined there seller confidence in there system....And Audiogon is working on ruining theres........Will
I have  to give credit to Tammy, she has come through in the end to make corrections to my ads that needed some work.....She has worked without recess on this to correct it......I thanks to her..........Will
autospec,
Totally agree, eBay´s "buyer protection" system has become a nightmare to all honest sellers, I experienced that two years ago. I had to fight 5 weeks for my rights and get justice on dishonest buyer´s dispute. This time I was lucky as eventually eBay admitted that it wasn´t my fault at all. But my money stood there and did´t receive even a little note that they will shut my account ! It´s actually that darn PayPal that has ruined eBay because when buyer opens a case PayPal automatically freezes seller´s account and the money stays there, as long as they dare to do. Just like that. They have NO right to freeze peoples accounts but they dare so. They are criminals. PayPal is a nightmare that ruined eBay.

Tammy helped me and shut up a mean troll that was spreading misinformation of my activities here on A´gon a few moths ago. It´s true ! She is my hero.
Tammy dear, you rock !
Interesting thread here. I was burned by a dishonest buyer several years ago who made all sorts of claims about damage and packing and description discrepancies. He immediately initiated a Paypal dispute without even contacting me beforehand and I had to essentially prove my innocence over the whole thing with photo and shipping verification in order to get my account unfrozen. It was a debacle.

So often there's a sketchy seller, but buyers can be nefarious as well.
And they certainly dare to do because PayPal sides them no matter what they say and do. Just like that. Without warning PayPal stabs at your back.  Eventually eBay sided me but PayPal did NOTHING not even a little note that they are going to stop my business, not to mention a little apology after they almost ruined my entire economy, nearly 3 thousand bucks in there. . I made a police report. PayPal is the biggest scam artist since communism. No bank freezes your account without a notice but they dearly do. Police only has right to freeze peoples bank accounts, in my culture at least. What´s left of American culture ?
I have had three bad eBay experiences in the last year.  I would love to be done with them.  I’ll post my Schiit Saga here in the next few days and I hope it sells here instead of having to support eBay.
I do agree that the bank should freeze the money UNTIL the case is closed! I have lost much money because of this. As all of us know: Pay FIRST, and the item(s) will come safe to you.I did pay once for a set of B&W 800  as adviced by the advertisers company. Everyone knows Who, but no name from me.I had conversations with seller and at last MY bank phoned the sellers bank. The bank denied to send back MY money.
.... EVEN both banks , mine and the sellers, could verify that the seller had not sent the Item!!

The case has gone back and forth, but NO money back to me.
Still no money and this happened years ago!!

In NORWAY we do have a company: finn.no. Here we can get a deal that the buyer can put the money on an account at : finn.no, and WHEN the seller, who then has agreed to : finn.no, HAS TO SEND  the item, and when buyer agrees that the item OK!,the seller gets his money.

Sorry for you, really bad luck : /  There you see nobody cares for your money ! They only care for themselves. I know exactly who you are talking ´bout : )
They are all bastards, those banks, eBay, PainPal ....
Is PayPal involved in the finn.co business in anyway ?
Regards from a... Finn ; )
