Seas Thors New Xovers Madisound

Just likem you guys to know  Madisound just finsihed the xovers for the 2003 Seas Thor MTM kit.
Had Mundorf's installed,
Really nice upgrade, well worth the investment.
I much prefer the xovers outside the cabinet.
The bass has really blossomed with Mundorf's 8.2 Supreme.
The mids are deeper, richer, more articulate the soundstage.
Highs are stellar and glistens, crystal clear.
Female vocals, pure and natural.
Just waiting on one final touch..I have a  Mundorf EVO Silver Gold, smaller brother to the Supreme EVO Oil Silvergold, which is due in today and will have richard Gray make the soldering sometime monday.
I think we can get even more out the highs with the Supreme vs the smaller version, the EVO Oil.
I'm sure of it.
We will see,,or better hear.
Will leave the EVO Oil in the 8.2, as the Supreme for that spot is like $200 each, out my budget.
IMHO, if you can budget in all Spremes, go with the newer Supreme EVO Silvergold,, they are shorter vs the older model, + you get the newest EVO winding technology.
But as i say, if you can budget.
Call madisound on the details of the xovers, upgrades.
anyway, here's the Thors making beautiful music.
These kits are near same price I paid  in 2003, which is amazing, considering how powerfully nuanced these speakers are.
Enjoy and leave a  comment.

Looks like a lot of fun mozartfan. Great job!

I would like to make two comments. Your room has too much echo. You need to do some damping. Once you finish with these build some subwoofers and you will really be rocking!!
yeah sound damping is something i will research tonight.
Thanks for the suggestion. .
I have a  rug collection all rolled up,,maybe i'll stack some in each corner,,and that will be a good start.
Actually I had gain up more than I listen to.
My collection is mostly 20th C classical, and db can  range from barely audible to loud, like in Webern, Schoenberg, Schnittke.
I am happy at low gain,, never did care for loud db. Have all that power and don't use it
Like driving a  Lamborgini around a  35 mph zone.
The Mundorf Supreme EVO silvergold just arrived, nearly 2x's the size of the EVO and they are heavy.
Will install monday, give update.,
These Excel drivers demand the  very best caps.
With the Bifrost, I will employ both tweet caps Supreme EVO and bass cap Supreme.
Here is the Bifrost kit.
I will employ everything here, except the $100 Furtech posts (not necessary) and his 3.9 Supreme,,I will use the 3.9 Supreme EVO. ..but everything else exactly the same.
well actually I am having Madisound to explore options to swap the W18 for a W22.
Considering its only 1 midwoofer,,I want the extra beefiness of the larger cone.
So xover will have to be altered.

The way you are tossing around cash, e-mail gik with pics and room dimensions.  They’ll get you set up right.
Your setup is awesome and you have some unlocked potential with room treatments.

I love Seas Excel as well.  They are some of my favorites and many of my favorite speakers use them.  I’ve had 2 different pairs of Jamos that use Seas Excels.

Anyhow, congrats on your system and your new crossovers.  You have good taste is equipment!
I said the same in another thread. You can get a glimpse of the systems potential, but the room needs to be fixed. You will never truly hear what the mods or your system is doing until the room is taken care of.
