Naked Classic Platter

By a show of hands, is there anyone who doesn't use the turntable mat on their VPI Classic platter?

I bought a Music Hall cork mat and immediately experienced a world of difference. While not completely eliminated, the amount of static was greatly reduced. And, because LPs seem to lie very nicely onto the MH, I find that I do not need to use my record clamp much at all anymore.
