Has anyone tried Kimber TAK HB tonearm cable?

High everyone I was wondering how dose the Kimber TAK the silver hybrid compare to the stock sme IV cable. and preferably what's the difference and is it a better better upgrade over the stock sme cable? My analog system is a fully upgraded oracle mkIII, sme IV with a dynavector XX2 MKII cartridge, running into a music first audio classic step up transformer. And from that to a cary slp98p phono preamp and car cad120s power amp. let me know your thoughts Thanks.

Hi,
to start with anything would be better than stock SME cable, which is veiled and lacking in life. On the other hand is flexible enough and would not upset suspension movement on your Delphi. I prefer the Tak ag to HB, i have used both on my SME V with ZYX cartridges, finding it the less coloured of the two with better highs and speed. Both are nice cables and are flexible. In your case i would try the HB first as the XX2 is a fast cartridge and most propably it would be a better match with a nice glow in the mids. Whatever you choose make sure that does not affect the dynamics of your sensitive suspension.
