I should have added my current preamp is an Edge Signature One, would the Sutherland be an upgrade, a lateral move, or a downgrade?

I'm considering a Sutherland Engineering C-2000 preamp and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this piece specifically or with Sutherland gear in general. It seems like a good price and I read a good review in an old issue of Fi, there is also a review in issue 114 of TAS but I can't seem to track it down. Any real world experience would be much appreciated though, so thanks in advance for any imformation. FWIW the rest of my gear is Tube Technology Fusion CD64, Cary CAD 300B Signature amps, and Alon Lotus SE MKIII speakers.
