Slipknot, I just saw this in the bookstore today and thought WOW Do I miss strolling the isles of the music megastores. The history of Tower records disappearing is especially painful to read about.

Since we are sharing: Sound of the Beast: The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal is one good informative book as well.
I concur. Very fun read.

If you're a rock fan, another good read is "Rock and Roll Will Save Your Soul" by Steve Almond.
