A reading suggestion

"Record Store Days: From Vinyl to Digital and Back Again" by Gary Calamar and Phil Gallo. Published by Sterling Publishing, 2009, ISBN:978-1-4027-7232-0

A history of record stores and record labels. Great stories, anecdotes, and photos
Thanks for the mention of your positive reading experience.
I concur. Very fun read.

If you're a rock fan, another good read is "Rock and Roll Will Save Your Soul" by Steve Almond.

Happy listening (and reading).
Slipknot, I just saw this in the bookstore today and thought WOW Do I miss strolling the isles of the music megastores. The history of Tower records disappearing is especially painful to read about.

Since we are sharing: Sound of the Beast: The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal is one good informative book as well.
Another good one about record collecting is "Vinyl Junkies" by Brett Milano.
