What did you replace your DQ-10's with?

Boy, I never expected such a big response! Thanks to everyone.

The electro-statics do sound intriguing but I'm worried about them shorting due to feathers and dander from my childrens parakeets, African grey timnah parrot, and the rabbits. I vacuum around their cage everyday but would hate to have the constant worry.

I will report in on the Apogee's and Avalon's a.s.a.p. as well as the Totem's and Triangles.

JUST HAD TO HAVE THE WOOFERS REDONE. FOR A THIRTY YEAR OLD SPK THESE THINGS SOUND GREAT. THEY ARE ORIGINAL WITH NO UPGRADES.

Legacy Sig IIIs then VMPS RM40s (But I still have the DQ10s and occasionally drag them out for some listening, and they still sound absolutley astonishing)

But if you want the ultimate step up, the RM40 is the ticket. I liked em so much I became a dealer.

From dq-10's to the servo driven the acoustat x.Still use the OTL tube amps from the x's to drive a pair of acoustat 2+2's in a second system.

Snell C4s, but have long since moved on to ML estats.
