Please see my post-New Rick Beato interview. Seems there are a few who do not like BJ, and now, I do not respect these folks. Please read the article that was posted. I do not understand how folks actually do not like some musicians/songwriters. I have my preferences of who I enjoy more, but there is not a musician/songwriter I can say I do not like.

I remember, years ago, reading an article written by some elderly dude whom bashed on Billy Joel, because he said that the way BJ represents life in his home town is not representative to how it was. But you know, even in my home town, ive met people who had such different experiences in the same area, that they also, disagreed about life in the exact same area. So I was 0rwtty miffed when the writer trash-talked Billy so hard. |
@logistics the article is posted on my thread. |
I really enjoyed the BJ interview. Back in the late seventies, I went to see (?) and Billy Joel was the warmup band and he blew the place away with what was soon to be the Piano Man album. I have his first 5-6 albums and still listen to them. I did find it amazing that he never learned to read music. I know he’s not the only one, but it did surprise me.
