Skyanalog 3D Reference - MC Cartridge

The discovery of a latest release MC Cart' model from Skyanalog, caught my attention as I was familiarising myself with their models a few years past.

To see how the company has advanced is quite pleasing, and the evidence that the product is available with parts used, that when equivalent parts are seen used on other brands' carts costing nearly twice as much, does capture attention.

The Diamond used as the Stylus and Cantilever is a known method, but Diamond also used as a coil former is certainly not as common a method, possibly even unique.

The alternative is to play only music that is chill.

In my opinion, the algebraic method of taking the contact patch size of an advanced stylus and the VTF and from that calculating a pressure on the vinyl  in term of square feet or square meters is misleading, so far as the result tells you anything about the wear or the heat build up in vinyl due to the stylus.

Pindac, Don't you think equating the questions asked about Skyanalog with the xenophobic sentiments of a certain political movement in the US and its leader is more than a bit much? I do. No one mentioned rejecting Skyanalog purely because the company is Chinese in origin. In fact, no one mentioned rejecting Skyanalog on any grounds.

@pindac You have made many nice posts and have demonstrated lots of likability and courtesy.  This last post is embarrassing and brings you down to the level of the person you are parroting.  If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.  You teased a question, then reacted negatively when pushed on the question.

The Thread is about the Brand Skyanalog and their latest Phono Cartridge being the 3D Ref model.  Which extends the company's Ref Model Line.  Very good reports are easy to discover about the already established in the marketplace Ref Models.

There are a few recent Threads covering Cart's not too long available where new tech, especially regarding Dampers.

Why not introduce another brand offering info about adopting new tech.
