OK, I'll bite. What are these brands that Skyanalog is OEM manufacturer for?
Skyanalog 3D Reference - MC Cartridge
The discovery of a latest release MC Cart' model from Skyanalog, caught my attention as I was familiarising myself with their models a few years past.
To see how the company has advanced is quite pleasing, and the evidence that the product is available with parts used, that when equivalent parts are seen used on other brands' carts costing nearly twice as much, does capture attention.
The Diamond used as the Stylus and Cantilever is a known method, but Diamond also used as a coil former is certainly not as common a method, possibly even unique.

@viridian Do you also need to know the volume of Cart's produced for each Brand to produce the calculation for the distribution of the Gross 50K Cart's produced over the 25 year history. Is not the brand Hana sharing a similar timeline as the Hana brand and is not the fact that Excel Corp was a OEM producing business prior to Hana being incorporated more similarity. Is the brands Excel Corp / Hana also wanted to be declared. |
Pindac LOL, the answer to your question should be obvious on the face of it. If I was interested in knowing the volume of each cartridge produced I would simply ask the question. But that it not the question that I asked, and the question that you did not answer. You felt it necessary to note that the cartridge manufacturer was an OEM for several brands, but choose not to divulge them. I think it a fair question to ask where this information is coming from that they are an OEM for several brands in the above named countries. If you make a claim, you should be able to cite the source of the information. |
I just read several reviews. They all state that Skyanalog was making cartridges for other brands for 20 years prior to 2019, when the Skyanalog brand was introduced. None of the reviewers knew exactly what brands bought product from Skyanalog. One said it was a “secret”. Indeed, the Skyanalog website makes the same claim without naming names, and reviewers may merely be quoting the website. One mentioned their novel damper material, Yan rubber. Best to just judge the Skyanalog cartridges on merit. |
Lew thanks! I asked for a simple reason, and that is if I were familiar with the OEMed cartridges and did not care for them there would be no need in pursuing the marque. But what I am getting from you is that the source of the info is Skyanalog's advertising, which is just fine, as it has to come from somewhere. |
