Foreign Tongues - New Rolling Stone Album (vinyl)

There have been many very good quality stones recordings over the years.  Lots of mediocre record pressings as well back in the day. 

I see it on Qobuz now.   Just not yet via Roon. 

The Stones were meant to be heard on a transitor radio in the sixties and seventies. Nothing more, nothing less. Get over your compressed music whatever. Turn it up.

@mapman I wonder if you can name one, or a few? I, and several friends have never heard a good recording from them, over the last half a Century and more!

I'm a Stones fan and haven't received my LP copy yet. The Qobuz version does have that flat, compressed sound that's so common today, but I still find it fun. Though I've never turned to the Stones for demo quality material, they have a few albums with especially good sound. The MFSL version of Sticky Fingers is quite good and Some Girls is another of their better sounding albums. I have Japanese pressings of Goats Head Soup and It's Only Rock & Roll - they're pretty good fidelity also.
