@8th-note Fantastic comparison of speakers. Well done. Enjoy your 60’s!
Dynaudio Confidence serie
Hi,
Have you had a chance to listen to the Dynaudio Confidence 30/50/60 series? What do you think about them?
A lot of people I know keep raving about them, and my favorite hi-fi dealer carries the whole Confidence lineup, so I've started thinking about making the switch.
So far I've only heard the Dynaudio Special Forty and there were quite nice.

Thank you, everyone. I currently own a pair of Joseph Audio Pulsars, and I've been very happy with them. However, I'm now looking for a larger pair of floorstanding speakers for my living room. My initial plan was to upgrade to the Joseph Audio Perspectives, but since I'm mainly shopping on the pre-owned market, finding a pair in Europe is almost impossible. At this point, I'm seriously considering the Dynaudio Confidence 30, which I expect would be a significant step up from the Pulsars. The Confidence 50 would be even better, but they're beyond my budget for now. I'm currently driving the Pulsars with a Coda S5.5. While it's an good match for them, I suspect it may not be sufficient to get the best out of the Confidence series, so I'm also considering upgrading the amplifier—most likely to something from Moon by Simaudio or Hegel.

"It looks like Dynaudio is leaving the US and I’m troubled by this but I’m glad I bought my Confidence 60’s when I did" For some absurd reason my post regarding the reason Dynaudio is leaving the US was removed. Perhaps I should have posted "Why would a Danish company wish to operate in the USA market?" |
@laoman it was destined to be removed. The moderators do not allow anything critical of you know who and what, even when it is 100% relevant and on the subject. And obviously Dynaudio's giving up on the US market has everything to do with youknowho |
