Siltech says TMR sold me a fake cable but I want to believe TMR

First off, TMR is as professional as it gets.  As someone who’s worked in the backend of a business, I can plainly see the lengths they go through and time spent refining what they do. They offer a 110% authentic guarantee. At least that’s what I’ve seen, the salesman in the phone told me last night. Today I look into it and there’s no longer 110% but 100%.
anyways, there was a siltech ruby double crown power cable. I looked it up before purchasing and found page with minimal information on siltech website. The cable looked similar but very different than the one on tmr website. Maybe It’s not the same cable I thought. I dug deeper and found a lot of pictures of siltech cables with Asian language and followed the websites to find a lot of fakes. These looked closer to what was in TMR website.
so called TMR and expressed my concern. Ryan assured me they were probably real because of the process they use to identify authenticity. That put me at ease. However before calling I had reached out to the North American distributor and siltech themselves.  Talked in the phone with monarch and sent him pictures via text. He never got back to me. Siltech messaged me this morning tell me the cable is not in their database and is a fake

here’s my dilemma, I’ve heard many of times about how companies don’t like people buying used because it means they’re not getting the sale. Makes sense. Is there a possibility that siltech is lying?
does anyone here have experience with siltech and ruby double crown or fake siltech in general and could help me identify?

@bthrb4u - sorry to hear about your ordeal, glad you got a refund.

Did you copy TMR on your message from Siltech? Used cables can be risky, ideally it comes with Certificate, receipt, or a trusted source.

Sucks that some scammer ripped off TMR. I’m of the belief that such people never prosper in life.

My best cable is a furutech project v1. I have used this in my amp exclusively.  The effortlessness and quietness it brings to the table with humungous imaging is awesome

So just get another Project V1. I use one and find it does what you describe. There's someone on What's Best Forum that uses 11 Project V1's in their system!

Also based on what Siltech and TMR say Id not be doing business with either. They should at least give a detailed explanation of why they think the cable is a fake or genuine IMO.

Following.  I’m a recent TMR customer and have had only positive experiences.  I’ve purchased only new equipment from them but traded in a loom of Transparent cables and a PowerIsolator.  They accepted my stuff only after a week or so after receipt so they could test and I assume verify authenticity.  I would absolutely assume good faith on TMR’s part.  If it can be verified the cables are not authenticated I’m sure you’ll be treated fairly.  Good luck!

Even if theyprosper in this life, I take consolation they won’t be so lucky in the next. lol.

I actually planned on getting another v1 but used TMR because I was able to use affirm and basically take a loan out to get it. Also, I wanted to try something new. I think I have a good understanding of what hifi gear does and enjoy leaving my impressions online hoping it can help someone someday.  So yes, I’m trying to make my perfect system but don’t mind trying jew things. Haven’t seen it all ya know 😂
