Thiel Owners

Guys-

I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

Keep me posted & Happy Listening!

Addendum: The 3.6 and 3.7 impedance curves are practically identical.

John Siau at Benchmark modeled load tests on varous Thiel models including the 5i and 3.6 ( I don't have 3.7s). He allowed with caution bridged AHB2s for all the products except the 3.6. He predicted current delivery distress for the 3.6 / and therefore the 3.7.

It's a jungle.

Cheers,

Tom

We've all been through this material before here on the Forum. But it has been awhile. So --please, if there is new amplification out there that at least equals the AHB2 in timbral purity and staging, AND delivers more elbow room power, do let me know.

Hi all, I recently scored a pair of the CS 2 2 (no decimal point, just 2 (space) 2. I'm just wondering where they rank among the other numerous models. I'm very happy with them. Driving them with my Anthem MCA 225 amp. Thanks. And Happy 250th Birthday, America!

Welcome! good to see you here today. Nice score on those CS 2 2 loudspeakers.

The Anthem MCA 225 is a sonic match for Thiel. What other gear and cabling rounds out your System? I look forward in reading more about Musical tastes as well.

Happy Listening!
