video about taking delivery of large electrostatic panels that replaced my TADs.

While I realize that large panel speakers are not for everyone, I made a short video about getting a 400 pound crate with my new Prodigio electrostats.  They replaced my TAD’s, a speaker I swore I would never sell.

it was an exciting day for me and maybe others will enjoy it as well.

I really regret having to sell them.  If I had more room I would have kept them as home theater left + Right .  Several people have sold their CR1 or R1 and ended up buying them again. One guy bought them back twice before keeping them!

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting and am adding your channel.

How do you keep the losses from selling new speakers contained? I would love to try expensive speakers but how does one minimize the new ---> used losses to a reasonable amount of $$?

I always loved the look of the CR1’s but my ears have trouble with metal tweeters.  Having said that, I am really excited for you getting a wonderful set of electrostatic speakers. I still have some acoustic stats from the mid to late 80s that I am still very fond of. I joined your YouTube channel so I can share your experiences.

All the best.

Congrats. I look forward to hearing more about these after a bit of run in.

Happy listening.
