Designer in wall wiring - worth it?

While you’re at it, check with the power company and get them to replace the wiring from wherever it’s generated to your house. 

The belief that the last few feet of wiring or a power cord can make any obective difference, is laughable.

@ditusa Thanks for the metal clad suggestion, I am guessing that works pretty well. Probably not a fit for my situation as these outlets are on an outside wall in an old house. Wiring them is a real trick involving angle drilling into the sill that is recessed on the foundation wall. It is why I used 12 awg on this set, I wired 10 awg on my previous room and it was really difficult to route. Metal clad would require compromising the sill I think.

I have two dedicated outlets for my system using standard 12 gauge with short runs of about 15’ to the breaker box.

Pretty short runs... Any chance of voltage drop is slim to none. 

Just curious, do you have any surge protection to protect your audio equipment? A Whole House Surge Protector at the electrical panel?

Best way to verify 100% is to check with a volt meter, multimeter.

If both dedicated branch circuits are fed from breakers on the same Line, leg.

Measure for voltage, from a hot contact of a duplex outlet, connected to one dedicated branch circuit, to a hot contact, on the other dedicated branch circuit duplex outlet. You should measure zero volts nominal.

IF you measure 240Vac nominal then the two branch circuits are not fed from the same Line, but rather are fed from Line 1 and Line 2.

While I have four Audience power cables and I use a Audience AR6 power conditioner, I have never tried their bulk power cable.

@jea48 I installed a Siemens whole house surge protector several years ago. And I have PS Audio P15 for protection and “cleansing” for all of my components. I also installed all the wiring and the breakers, I am positive they are on the same leg.

@curiousjim Thanks for the comment. I have been so impressed with the Audience speaker cables, and more recently the Hidden Treasure Ethernet cable, I just figured this might be worth a try. They seem to know what they are doing.
