Is anyone still using a CD Player

I have a bunch of CDs and the Krell 505 player.  I find myself defaulting to my Aurender Streamer and never listening to CDs.   I’m considering getting a CD Ripper and loading them via HSD or SSD card and loading into the Aurender.  Thoughts?  Am I in the dark ages even keeping the CD Player?

I have a couple hundred CDs mostly from the no vinyl era, with things that are hard to find on vinyl, so yes I still have a CD player.

I have not played a CD in 6 years sine my Linn Unidisc 1.1 laser burned out and Linn no longer supported repair and they used a custom or modified laser that precluded independent service companies from repairing it.  I have been streaming ever since, first Tidal and now Qobuz.

PS:  Will never buy Linn again.  They stopped supporting an $11k CD player.  As an example, Krell still supports products from the 1990’s.

If the latest Source is not used with a DAC that has the latest DAC Chip, which is also given a merit by ASR, how can a person consider themselves an audiophile using an archaic Source material?

I was amazed to read about "the resurgence of CDs".  I never knew they went away.

Honestly, The 505 CD player is most likely a superior sound . Many new CD discs are 1/3 the price of a vinyl record which also makes it important to keep. For variety alone
