Greg Bray, Seller of Stolen Audio Gear and Seller of Counterfeit Rolex and Other Watches

Beware of Greg Bray, audiodude66 google mail resident of Overland Park Kansas.  I have spoken directly with manufacturers of state of the art cables, high end tube equipment, and mid level loudspeakers.  Greg typically pays for new and used audio with bad checks and countfeit watches.  He sold 100k of stolen cables to a doctor in our local audiophile group and then sold him two counterfeit Rolex watches.  In my case he took two power cables from my home and never paid for them.  He has ripped off Tom Vu of Triangle Art, Eric Alexander of Tekton Design, and a leading cable manufacturer.  He is a pathological layer and a psychopath. He starts out as a really nice guy who is filthy rich and says he is a local builder.

if he is really nomadic, it might not be easy for a particular state authority to catch up with him. You might consider reporting this to the FBI or Secret Service because they both do this sort of work and have nationwide jurisdiction. If what you say is true, plenty of federal statutes would be implicated- wire fraud, money laundering, etc,, sounds like the question might be whether there’s enough money involved to exceed an internal threshold, but federal authorities generally are much better equipped to deal with this sort of systematic fraud.

I am also in the Audiogroup in KC where Greg turned up . I assure you he is a very good con. Comes off as super rich, off putting as first, but then warms up and acts like he has a genuine interest in helping. No doubt his patsy moved too quickly, but I think picking the right mark is a con's specialty. I have been around lots of 100 million plus, 1/2 billion, and one billionaire, and I also thought he was rich. In retrospect Greg was way too showy about his money compared with the super wealthy I know personally. So maybe that's a lesson here as well.

Thank you Greg G for bringing this forward. Not an easy thing to in these days.
