End Game Phono Preamp (tube)

There are a lot of great sounding phono preamps out there. Best of luck in your search.

My main phono preamp is a Aesthetix IO Eclipse, with 1 power supply .To my ears a really sweet sound.  No problem driving low output MC cartridges that I have.

The IO will drive my very low output Denon DL-S1 cartridge (0.15mv) with ease. I usually use a SUT with the DL-S1 going into a SS phono drive, but the IO sounds sweeter. I haven’t use the DL-S1 in a few years, it’s a very nice cartridge, but I prefer my other cartridges more.

@sksos1 -  NVO is still in business they never had a website. 

Not having a website puts a huge damper on researching, sales, and reviews. Maybe NVO wants small about of sales and manufacturing of units like Decware who’s overloaded 3yrs out. Reminds me to get on their waitlist list for my foray into low watt tube midrange magic while keeping a lid on tube rolling expenditures.

NVO SPA-One SE 14 tubed phono - Wow, they’re up to version 14 from the last published version 2? 

I can recommend audio research phono stages.  I have an old Ref 2SE model that was bought 2nd hand a very good price.  Easy to change the tubes yourself and nothing super exotic

Another vote for Modwright PH9.0 XT, Zesto Andros II also a good option. Definitely not a fan of SUT. Too difficult to match cartridge and no versatility.

UPDATE: I've identified clearly what I seek if I were to move on from the Hagerman (which I now believe I'm keen to do): Greater clarity. Cleaner imaging. Less low mid emphasis + somewhat tubby bass. In short - resolution. With better depth. If any aspect of soundstage that can be improved upon I'm all for it. Now what say community? (This discussion has been fantastic for me so thank you - hopefully it'll also provide insight for other researchers). I'll modify my initial position to now also ask: OK if I just say F-it and went for a ALLNIC H-7000 is that the right move?
