Posting photos?

I recently attempted to add a photo with a comment here. Both dragging the photo and copying and pasting the IMG failed. This is with an iMac.

I ask Amazon how to do this and just received a reply suggesting asking others how they succeeded. So, summary help will be appreciated.

This chap passed through my pond a few weeks ago. Olympus EM1, MkII, Zuiko100-400, MC-20 teleconverter. That equivalent to a 1600mm lens on a 35mm camera.

The photo was taken with the lens resting on the rail of my back deck.
