Roon Issues - Not able to play certain tracks

It’s been several Roon updates since my last post. The issues are back.

Performance is slow - nucleus one had trouble displaying artwork when browsing albums, searching was painfully slow. Sound quality was wooly and rolled off.
 

The Nucleus was on for about a week non stop prior to this. After a reboot the performance improved. But I went with jplay for that listening session. As I suspected, one of the Roon updates they pushed is now causing issues. At least for me. Sucks that it’s inconsistent and they can’t make right. 
Very disappointing. 

I need to give it a try again, if nothing else to confirm my impressions. Switch over to Squeeze, even with its ui limitations, has been a significant upgrade for my system. I just don’t get why Roon cannot fix this issue.

One guess is that their Raat protocol is processor intensive, resulting in more noise on the server and player, and revising it would require significant upgrades and possible recertification of all the Roon certified gear. If the fix was easy, they would have done it already. 

@zlone it was fixed with the April release. As I suspected the subsequent firmware updates brought it back to what it was. There is no cure for this. I so regret I didn’t cancel it.
